How a result is decided
The replay settles the match
FACEOFF runs on a deterministic engine. Identical inputs produce an identical match, down to the last carom off the boards. The recorded match decides the result for onchain settlement.

The same simulation runs in your browser and on the network. The same inputs land the same goals every time.
The match decides
FACEOFF re-runs the recorded inputs of a finished match and reads the winner off that run. Neither player's browser reports the score.
Bound settlement
Each staked match belongs to the escrow contract named in the lobby, and it settles or refunds there.
Start to payout
Connect a wallet, fund your seat, and play. A decisive match pays the winner. If a match never settles, either player refunds it from the contract once its refund window has passed, and the lobby names that window before you stake.

Matches settle on Robinhood. The lobby names the stake asset and shows your stake and refund window before you fund your seat. It also names what your wallet needs to hold for the stake and for network fees.
